Our staff consists of coaches from both the United States and the Dominican Republic. These coaches bring diverse backgrounds that have one thing in common; a passion for baseball. Our goal is to make this a memorable cultural experience that is fun and helps players improve.
Sam LeBeau (click to read Sam’s message) has traveled to the Dominican Republic many times and is Dominican Baseball Camp’s liaison in the United States. Sam assists player in the registration process and preparing for their trip. Sam frequently attends the trips and assists with logistics.
Our college guest coaches come from a variety of colleges throughout America, including well known major universities such as the University of Kansas and the University of Virginia.
They are experienced at running camps will show our players some things specific to their college. They also will add value by educating our players about the college recruiting process.
Our Dominican coaches include former minor league players such as Willie Guerrero, a native Dominican who grew up practicing on the same field that we will use during weeklong trip. He will
introduce you to the Dominican style of play and show you some of the drills done by Dominican players.
Jimmy Sosa, is a valued member of the organization. Jimmy, a former baseball player himself who seems to know everyone in the Dominican Republic, will assist with many of the details (arranging meals, transportation…etc) that will make our trip more enjoyable.
